f74. The valley of unemployment appears to be the Rhondda in South Wales. The author arrived there in 1924. A sound paperback copy with bright pages. The spine has had some wear. The front cover is illustrated by rather a nice painting signed Pares. A street scene of cottages and washing and children. One neat name inside.
