The painting of a rather grim man and woman standing in front of a gothic farmhouse. The Man holds a three pronged pitchfork and the woman has a high necked spotted dress with a cameo brooch on the collar. A fascinating book which explains the painting and it's history. Numerous photographs of the original and all the parodies, some of them anyway. A nice copy ,may be unread. Dustwrapper unmarked. Price: 9.50 GBP
